The Wild's fire put out

Since the game of the Minnesota Wild vs. the San Jose Sharks, the wild have played amazingly these last couple of weeks. With 9 straight wins in a row the wild have clinched a playoff spot! LETS GO WILD!!! Sadly though the wild lost to the Flames Tuesday March 27 and Thursday March 29. On tuesday Mikka Kipursoff was solid in the net as was Niklas Backstrom, both of them keeping the score at 0-0 for 65 minutes. In the shootout Kipursoff denied Pavol Demitra #38 and Brian Rolston #12. Backstrom allowed 2 goals from Tanguay and Iginla. On Thursday Backstrom allowed 2 goals in 80 seconds into the first period. Thats all it took to set the flames off with a final score of Flames 4 and Wild 2. The wild had plenty of scoring oppurtunities, but only 2 found their way in. With goals by Brent Burns #8 and Captain Mark Parrish #21. Goals for Calgary were 3 from Iginla, and one from Langkow. This puts the wild 7th in the Western confrence. We could use a win the next couple of games. So lets go wild!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
